A roofing contractor’s job is not done once the roof is complete. Cleanup is just as important as the actual roofing job! That’s why it’s so important to hire a contractor that treats your property with the care it deserves. Strewn about debris that is not properly discarded can damage your landscape, windows, doors, and siding. Furthermore, this debris can even become a health hazard! Nails left behind on lawns become an immediate danger to children and pets playing outside. Rest assured, the professionals at Knockout Roofing won’t leave until we have conducted a thorough cleanup of all debris
Since roof construction is usually a multi-day process, we have a cleanup routine after each day and then a final extensive clean-up once the job is completed. Our professionals strive to keep the construction debris contained and tucked away until the job is complete. Re-roofing can be messy work, but we’re meticulous about putting down tarps to collect nails and even the smallest bits of debris. We always have a dumpster on site to discard debris such as old shingles, nails, and flashing.
Once the job is complete, our first matter of business is blowing off the granules and sawdust left on the roof, and making sure the gutters are clear of dust, debris, and nails. We concentrate on the ground cleanup after the roof is looking perfect. First we go through your property with a magnet to catch any nails that we weren’t able to see. Then we use powerful handheld blowers to clear paved surfaces, porches, and decking that got dusty from work. Lastly we haul off the dumpster and leave you with a yard looking as good (or better!) than it did when we arrived and a brand new sparkling roof. Customer satisfaction is always our priority.
